Who We Are

Space Dust Industries Inc. works across applied AI, robotics, and digital manufacturing. Our infrastructure includes private GPU compute, an air-gapped research environment, and a scan-to-print workflow — see our capabilities page. We distinguish the capabilities available today from prototypes and longer-term research concepts.

Mission

To develop the AI, robotics, and manufacturing technologies that make space industry sustainable — turning orbital debris from a threat into a resource, and building the autonomous systems that a real space economy will run on.

Vision

A circular economy in orbit: debris captured, materials recycled, parts manufactured in space, and asteroid resources feeding it all — coordinated by AI at every layer.

2019

Private AI Compute Begins

Began building the on-premises GPU computing environment that became SDI's research cluster.
2022

Founded

Space Dust Industries incorporates in Colorado with a mission of sustainable space industry.
2023

Government Registration

Registered as a government contractor and began pursuing work in the federal space ecosystem.
2025

Expanded Private AI Infrastructure

Expanded our on-premises, air-gapped GPU environment for local AI development and inference.
2026

R&D Programs Underway

Reinforcement-learning and robotics research underway; scan-to-print pipeline in operation; exotic-alloy additive manufacturing venture in development.
